Foundation Principal appointed to lead new St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School at Clyde
The foundation principal to lead a new Catholic primary school currently under construction in Clyde has been announced as Mrs Michelle Bruitzman.
Mrs Bruitzman, who is currently principal of St Agatha’s Catholic Primary School, Cranbourne, will assume her new principalship in July for the commencement of Term 3, 2026, in preparation of the school’s planned opening in Term 1, 2027.

The foundation principal to lead the new St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School, under construction in Drouin, has been announced as Mr Derek Bruitzman.
Mr Bruitzman, who is currently principal of St John’s Catholic Primary School, Frankston East, will assume the principalship in July for the commencement of Term 3, 2026, in preparation of the school’s planned opening in Term 1, 2027.

Schools unite to launch Catholic Education Week 2026
Catholic school communities from across the Diocese of Sale came together this week to celebrate Catholic Education Week 2026, gathering in a spirit of peace, faith and hope.
Carrying their school banners, student leaders led a colourful procession with clergy and the Bishop of Sale, Most Reverend Greg Bennet, for the celebration held at Nagle Catholic College Bairnsdale.
