Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) is seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to support the Deputy Executive Director and the broader portfolio leadership team.
This position is offered as a twelve-month secondment, with a full guarantee that your substantive position within your current DOSCEL School or Office will be maintained at the conclusion of the secondment.
This is a key internal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality executive and administrative support.
The role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth coordination of portfolio priorities, stakeholder engagement, governance activities, meetings, communications, and day-to-day operational support across the Catholic Identity, Leadership, Learning and Teaching function.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant, you will:
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Executive Director and portfolio leadership team
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, correspondence, travel and scheduling
- Coordinate agendas, briefing papers, reports, presentations and executive documentation
- Prepare meeting minutes, action registers and follow-up activities
- Support portfolio-wide coordination of meetings, professional learning activities, workshops and events
- Build strong working relationships with school leaders, diocesan stakeholders and external partners
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive information
- Support governance, reporting and administrative compliance activities across the portfolio

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Planning & Infrastructure, you will lead the translation of a 10-Year Infrastructure Strategy into a sequenced, funded and deliverable capital program.This is not just program delivery – it is about setting direction, lifting capability and embedding governance across a complex, multi-site portfolio.
You will:
- Lead enterprise-wide capital planning and delivery across multiple regions and school communities
- Shape infrastructure investment strategy, including growth, redevelopment and optimisation
- Drive Diocesan-wide Master Planning, aligning enrolment growth, demand and long-term development pathways
- Embed program governance, frameworks and reporting to lift consistency and maturity across the portfolio
- Oversee end-to-end capital delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards
- Partner with senior stakeholders across schools, Church, government and industry

Experience within education, Catholic education or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contracts, procurement and service providers
