Executive Assistant – Full Time

Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) is seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to support the Deputy Executive Director and the broader portfolio leadership team.

This position is offered as a twelve-month secondment, with a full guarantee that your substantive position within your current DOSCEL School or Office will be maintained at the conclusion of the secondment.

This is a key internal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality executive and administrative support.

The role plays an important part in ensuring the smooth coordination of portfolio priorities, stakeholder engagement, governance activities, meetings, communications, and day-to-day operational support across the Catholic Identity, Leadership, Learning and Teaching function.

As the Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Executive Director and portfolio leadership team
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, correspondence, travel and scheduling
  • Coordinate agendas, briefing papers, reports, presentations and executive documentation
  • Prepare meeting minutes, action registers and follow-up activities
  • Support portfolio-wide coordination of meetings, professional learning activities, workshops and events
  • Build strong working relationships with school leaders, diocesan stakeholders and external partners
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive information
  • Support governance, reporting and administrative compliance activities across the portfolio

You are a seasoned leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels – equally comfortable shaping long-term direction and driving delivery outcomes.

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale capital works programs in complex, multi-site environments
  • Proven capability in program-level planning, prioritisation and delivery
  • Strong commercial, financial and contract management expertise
  • Experience uplifting capability, systems and governance frameworks
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • The ability to navigate complexity, risk and competing priorities with confidence

Experience within education, Catholic education or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

Head of Asset Management – Full Time
  • Lead the development and implementation of a strategic asset management framework across the Diocese
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring efficient, safe and timely delivery
  • Drive asset lifecycle planning, investment prioritisation and long-term sustainability outcomes
  • Embed systems, processes and reporting to lift asset management maturity and consistency

You are a practical and strategic leader who understands how to balance service delivery, compliance and long-term asset performance.

  • Extensive experience in asset management, facilities management or property operations
  • Proven capability leading multi-site or regional asset/facilities functions
  • Strong understanding of planned and reactive maintenance and lifecycle asset management
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contracts, procurement and service providers
  • Sound knowledge of legislative, safety and compliance requirements within built environments
  • Experience leading teams, building capability and embedding consistent ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capability

Experience in education, government or similarly complex, regulated environments will be highly regarded.
