ABOUT
Resources for Schools to Promote Catholic Education Week
In 2026, Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Sale will celebrate Catholic Education Week from Friday 15 May – Friday 22 May.
This year’s theme is ‘Every school a home of peace’. “Peace I leave with you”, says the Lord, “my own Peace I give you.” (John 14:27)
Catholic Education Week is a highlight of the year for our Diocese, as schools and parish communities come together to celebrate their Catholic identity and unique mission.
A Diocesan Mass to celebrate Catholic Education Week will be held on Wednesday 20 May at 11.00 am at Nagle Catholic College, Bairnsdale.
Principals and Parish Priests are encouraged to hold additional celebrations in their school/parish community during Catholic Education Week to promote parish/school partnerships and celebrate Catholic education.
