Naming of School

The naming of the School is linked to, and inspired by, the life and mission of Saint Oscar Romero. Oscar Romero was the former Archbishop of San Salvador, who was assassinated in 1980 for being an outspoken champion for the poor and oppressed. Romero’s Sainthood occurred in 2018 and helps to remind us of the message of peace and reconciliation, justice and mercy for all.
