The Hon. Martin Dixon

The Hon. Martin Dixon has dedicated his career to advancing the Victorian Catholic Education sector. He spent his early career as a classroom teacher before commencing his first Principalship in 1981. Throughout his career, Martin has held several influential roles within the Catholic education system, including serving as the Deputy Chairperson (Primary) for the Catholic Education Office. In 2010, Martin’s expertise and dedication culminated in in his appointment as Minister for Education, a role in which he served for four years. Throughout his career, Martin Dixon has demonstrated commitment to fostering educational excellence, social justice and community engagement within the Catholic education sector.
