New principals welcomed across our Catholic schools

DOSCEL
Induction brings new leaders together
Seven new Principals attended an Induction at Sion House Warragul on 22 January 2026 as they prepare to embrace their roles.
New principals are:
- Mrs Julie Banda – Principal – St Francis Xavier College, Berwick Officer, and Beaconsfield
- Mrs Pamela McKillop – Principal – Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, Cowes
- Mr Rian Prestwich – Principal – St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School, Officer
- Ms Rachael Williams – Principal -St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Warragul
- Ms Meegan Blackney – Acting Principal – Trinity Catholic Primary School, Narre Warren South
- Mr Liam Doherty – Acting Principal – St James Catholic Primary School, Nar Nar Goon
- Mr David Hansen – Acting Principal – St Peter’s College, Cranbourne and Clyde North.

The session was an opportunity for new principals to meet with members of the DOSCEL Learning and Teaching team and DOSCEL Executive ahead of the start of the school term.
