    October 2026

How can we ensure artificial intelligence serves humanity and protects human dignity?

Visiting academic, Dr Kim Daniels, was welcomed at Sion House, Warragul, recently for a thought-provoking conversation about Artificial Intelligence and communication.

Dr Daniels is Director of the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life at Georgetown University in the United States, and an adjunct professor in its Department of Theology and Religious Studies.

DOSCEL Office Executive, staff and school leaders joined with Bishop Greg Bennet, and Chancery staff for the presentation.

Together, the group explored how faith, human dignity and Catholic Social Teaching can guide the use of technology to ensure it strengthens human relationships and serves the common good.
